The home of surf life saving in Western Australia, established 1909. We provide voluntary life saving on Cottesloe beach from October to March.
In October 2009, Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club celebrated 100 years of providing beach safety and service to the community and visitors to Cottesloe Beach. Last year alone, almost 150,000 visitors took a dip in the pristine Indian Ocean at Cottesloe Beach, a Western Australian icon and one of Perth’s most popular beaches.
Life saving is our core business. Cottesloe club members provide voluntary life saving patrols on the weekends and public holidays. These volunteers are the heart of our club and endeavour to keep our beaches as safe as possible. Club members participate in training and competition. They also enjoy the social atmosphere which is a significant part of club life.
